NEXT Music Festivals is a division of NEXT Events & Festivals, a leading event company in South Africa. It showcases two major music festival brands: NEXT DJ FEST and NEXT ROCK FEST, hosted annually in both Cape Town and Gauteng.

We host four large-scale festivals per year: two NEXT DJ FEST events and two NEXT ROCK FEST events—one of each in Cape Town and Gauteng.

NEXT DJ FEST features electronic and dance music, while NEXT ROCK FEST highlights rock performances from top local and international bands.

NEXT DJ FEST is hosted in Gauteng at Idlewild Country Estate (1 November 2025 and 7 November 2026) and in Cape Town at Sandringham (28 February 2026).

NEXT ROCK FEST takes place in Cape Town at DHL Stadium (24 October 2026) and in Gauteng at FNB Stadium (31 October 2026).
